Let Us Make Our Future Now

Let us make our future now and let us make our dreams tomorrow’s reality.”

 – Malala Yousafzai

Malala is an exceptional woman. She became a voice in Pakistan for women’s rights. Extremists attempted to kill her, shooting her in the head on a bus. She survived.

Now she is a force for girls and women, advocating for the disadvantaged to find their way in the world – through education and equal opportunities.

We live in a world where, for many, those disadvantages don’t exist to the extent they do in Pakistan. But through socialization and defining women as caretakers, too many women live as if unconscious of what is best for them and eventually lose sight of their identities as magnificent and amazing creatures. This is a serious DISADVANTAGE.

To see women rise up – to be empowered in all areas of their being and watch them create the very lives that give them true meaning and deep happiness – is exhilarating.

No, I’m not Malala. Never been shot in the head. But I feel a calling equally powerful and have devoted my life to mentoring women into a new life. The one they choose and want desperately to inhabit.

To come alongside and see them make their future now and make their dreams tomorrow’s reality.
